The Product
Built for the strike. Finished like a showroom.
Every panel is hand-upholstered in our workshop using premium antique leather suede — chosen specifically because golf ball strikes are virtually invisible on its distressed surface. Built on a slimline ~1" rigid timber frame with a dual-layer foam core: a firm base layer that absorbs hard hits, plus a softer polyester topper that gives the surface its plump, uniform finish.
Impact Concealing
The distressed vintage finish naturally camouflages ball marks. No visible wear after thousands of strikes — proven across 1000+ GSR installs.
Fire Retardant Fabric
The antique leather suede is inherently fire retardant — a meaningful safety plus in a space with screens, projectors and AV running for hours.
Acoustic Dampening
Padded core absorbs sound, tightening your room's audio profile — cleaner voice pickup, reduced echo, better launch monitor acoustics.
Water-Resistant Surface
Wipe-clean faux leather suede. Shrugs off spills, sweat, and the occasional basement humidity — no staining, no swelling.

Every GSR room is built from two modular panel sizes arranged into a 72" (6 ft) deep enclosure. Each "column" of panels running back from the screen totals 72" — using either 1 large + 1 small, or 3 small panels.

How To Measure
Think of it like a U-shape.
Panels wrap around your hitting bay: up one side wall, across the ceiling, and down the other — forming a U. That U extends 72" back from the screen.
The Formula
Wall + Ceiling + Wall
= Linear Inches

Measure wall height on both sides (should match).

FABRICATION ALLOWANCE — Fabric wrap and build tolerance adds approximately 3/4 inch per every 5 panels in a run. A 5-panel wall sits a hair over 10 ft; a 7-panel ceiling sits a hair over 14 ft. Account for this when framing wall and ceiling opening dimensions.

METHOD A
Wood Substructure
- 18 gauge brad nails into the wood substrate behind each panel
- Ply or OSB sheeting is ideal — continuous fixing surface, no stud-hit guesswork
- Stud framing also works where sheet goods aren't used
- Fast, clean install — no finish repair, no filler, no touch-up
- Fully removable for future access behind panels
METHOD B
Drywall
- Silicone adhesive + 18g brads through the drywall face
- Silicone provides long-term bond strength
- Brads hold panel position while silicone cures
- Used for retrofit installs where no stud hit is available
- Panels remain removable with controlled force if needed
